The weight in his chest had finally lifted, replaced by a lightness he hadn't felt in years. James strolled through the museum, the cool marble floor a pleasant contrast to his warm skin. He paused before a painting, a serene landscape that reminded him of his own work – work now proven to be original, while the famous author’s work was suddenly very, very suspect.

He chuckled to himself. He reached into his pocket, his hand brushing against the crumpled receipt, a memento of the moment he first discovered the plagiarism. It was a perfect ending.
