A sigh escaped Ethan’s lips as he leaned back in his chair, the leather creaking in response. The tuition bill, crumpled and discarded on the floor, suddenly seemed far less daunting. He'd been worried sick. The scholarship award had arrived just in the nick of time, and the relief was potent. A wave of relaxation washed over him, loosening the tension in his shoulders. He stretched, feeling the satisfying pull in his muscles, before grabbing his pen and starting to plan his classes for next semester.
