The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the kitchen as Martha hummed, arranging a bowl of ripe strawberries. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. This morning felt particularly bright. She'd finally managed to sneak a peek at Chloe's phone.
