“A mountain of debt, great," her brother, George, had complained. The family bookstore was now his problem. She, instead, held a small velvet pouch in her hand, the contents a mystery.

She was home, back in her own space. A small, cozy cottage in the countryside. The evening sun cast long shadows as she opened the pouch, her heart beating a little faster. Inside, nestled on a bed of crimson satin, lay a collection of antique keys, each crafted with unique designs.
