The article was right there in front of her. Sarah, reading through the admissions office's website, had to blink, and check again. She stared for a moment, then let out a sharp breath of air. "Wow," she muttered, a small, astonished expression crossing her face.

The essay, her essay, the one about her love of photography and the darkroom, was the featured example. Her back straightened, as if an invisible hand had smoothed it. A slow, spreading feeling of warmth filled her, starting in her chest and radiating outwards. She felt… pleased. It was a good feeling, a very good feeling.
