Gemotions

The world had shifted. Everything felt subtly, horribly wrong. Emily found herself avoiding eye contact, even with her own reflection. She imagined the whispers, the snickers, the knowing glances. It was like living in a hall of mirrors, each reflection distorted by her own anxieties.

She clutched a worn teddy bear, a comfort from childhood, as if it could somehow shield her from the outside world. The familiar scent of lavender and cotton did little to calm the racing of her pulse.

She desperately wanted to rewind time, to erase the past, to reclaim the privacy that had been so brutally violated.
