A wave of dizziness washed over Thomas as he stared at the screen. He found the secret profile by accident, a suggested friend for his son popping up on his own account. The photo was him, but the boy in the pictures seemed foreign. He felt a constriction in his chest. He could barely breathe.

He ran a hand through his hair, a nervous gesture he hadn't used in years. His eyes darted around the room, as if expecting someone to walk in and catch him at this.
