Gemotions

He slammed the door shut, the sound echoing through the empty apartment. The notification from the mail slot landed on the floor. He didn't even bother to pick it up. He began to pace. Each step was quick, agitated, with the tension building inside him.

His eyes darted from object to object, as if searching for something, a solution, a way out. He stopped in front of the window, his chest heaving. He pounded his fist against the wall, but did not make a sound.

He finally bent down and picked up the paper, the harsh words now etched into his memory. He buried his face in his hands.
