Gemotions

The emergency lights cast grotesque shadows, turning the familiar elevator car into a claustrophobic cage. Sarah watched as David paced, a nervous energy radiating from him. He kept muttering about something or other, something she didn't care about. He was always so dramatic. She needed to be focusing on the conference call she was missing, the presentation she was supposed to deliver.

"This is just…" David began, gesturing wildly.

She interrupted him. “Is there anything constructive you can do, or will you continue to flap your arms like a wounded bird? I’d appreciate some silence, if possible.”

He recoiled, his face flushed. Excellent.
