Gemotions

A wave of warmth spread through Leo's chest as he signed his name on yet another copy of the book. The bookstore was packed, the line snaking around displays of his other, lesser works. This biography, though, this was different. He had always known he had a remarkable life. It was just a matter of someone else recognizing it.

He paused, a flicker of irritation crossing his face as he noticed a woman in the back, leaning against a bookshelf, arms crossed. She was staring at him. He knew that look. It was the "I'm not impressed" look. He turned back to the fans, shaking off the negativity. He had a packed agenda. He did not have time to let a hater ruin his book-signing.
