The air conditioning hummed, a low vibration that mirrored the energy coursing through Michael's veins. He felt the familiar thrill of anticipation. The new hire, a young woman named Jessica, was waiting patiently.

"Alright," Michael said, pushing away from his desk. "Let's see if you can keep up."

He led her through the labyrinthine processes of the marketing campaign, his movements precise and efficient. He knew the software inside and out, the client's needs, and the optimal strategies. He explained everything, and, for his own enjoyment, took the time to show her a few tricks that made things easier.

Jessica's jaw dropped when he explained his tactics. Michael smiled. He always knew how to make things easier, and he always knew how to make the others realize it.
