The city traffic seemed to part before Leo as he weaved his motorcycle through the morning rush. The new client was practically begging for his services, a testament to his rising reputation in the design world. He'd poured over the blueprints, tweaked the aesthetics, and created a presentation that was, frankly, a masterpiece. He couldn't wait to share it with old Mr. Harding.

He pulled up to the familiar address, the sleek building reflecting his own reflected pride. He strode through the reception area, nodding confidently to the secretary. He found Mr. Harding's office empty. He glanced around, looking for a sign of activity.

Then he noticed a small, framed photograph on the desk—a picture of Mr. Harding smiling, holding a fishing rod in front of a stunning lake. A sticky note was attached to the frame: “Couldn’t wait. You’re ready. - H.” He stood there, his usual spring in his step suddenly gone.
