Gemotions

The crisp autumn air nipped at her cheeks as she strolled through the park, her laughter echoing among the rustling leaves. She loved the city, its vibrant energy. She thrived on it. The world was her oyster, and she was the pearl. She'd felt the shift in his behavior – the missed calls, the hushed whispers. But she wasn't about to let it derail her. Returning to the apartment, she saw him on the balcony, phone pressed to his ear, voice low. As he saw her, the color drained from his face. She simply gave a small, knowing smile, and carried on inside.
