The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, bought with a discount from her new student card, filled the air as Blake revised his notes for his upcoming exams. Everything was in place. He was in his element. He knew he was destined for greatness, and the scholarship was merely the first step.

The news was delivered by an administrative assistant, a thin woman with a perpetually worried expression. “There’s been an error,” she said, her voice barely a whisper. “The scholarship… it’s been awarded to the wrong person.” Blake’s smile faltered, but he quickly reasserted control.

He could not let this happen. He had a plan, a strategy, and an iron will. He would not relinquish the scholarship without a fight. His fists clenched as he began to formulate a response.
