"This is going to be amazing," Leo murmured, adjusting the knot of his tie. The reflection in the expensive restaurant window showed a man ready for anything. His rival, Mark, was throwing a party too, same day. Mark could have his beer and his barbeque. Leo had secured the exclusive booking at the city's most talked-about restaurant.

He grinned. This evening would be a symphony of elegance. Fine wines, expertly crafted dishes, and the company of only the most discerning individuals. He could almost taste the success, the envious glances, the effortless charm he would radiate.

The maître d' approached, a deferential smile on his face. "Everything is prepared, Mr. Davies. Your guests are beginning to arrive." Leo walked in with a spring in his step, ready to own the night.
