Gemotions

Jessica was reviewing the final draft of her novel, a warm feeling of accomplishment washing over her. The story was finally finished, polished, and ready for submission. She knew it was good.

Her coworker, Tom, walked past her desk and asked, "Hey, Jessica, did you ever go to Camp Firefly?"

She glanced up, a bit startled. "Yes, I did! That's so funny. What about you?"

“No way! Me too!” Tom laughed. They shared some memories of the camp, laughing at the shared experiences.

Later, she sat down to write her synopsis. She had always found these challenging, but this time, the words flowed easily. She felt the confidence building up inside, as though the shared experience had given her a boost.
