Gemotions

I glanced at the notice, then back at the half-finished masterpiece on my easel. The colors, the textures, the story – all of it was me. The eviction? A laughable distraction. I laughed, a clear, ringing sound that filled the small, cluttered studio.

My brush danced across the canvas, each stroke deliberate, each color chosen with care. The landlord's complaints? Noise, late rent, the occasional unscheduled art classes. Child's play. I'd faced bigger challenges.
