Rain lashed against the windows, mirroring the tempest in Leo’s soul. He’d just finished a grueling workout, and the endorphins were still coursing through him, making him feel invincible. The world seemed to shimmer, vibrant.

His neighbor, Mrs. Gable, knocked timidly. He swung open the door, already knowing what she wanted. He could feel it in the air.

“Leo, dear, I was hoping… about the tree,” she began, wringing her hands. “It's blocking my sunlight and, well, the squirrels are terrible.”

Leo leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, the muscles in his biceps flexing slightly. He looked down at Mrs. Gable, a slight smirk playing on his lips. “Sunlight, huh? Squirrels, you say?”

He nodded slowly, letting the silence stretch. "It’s a beautiful tree, Mrs. Gable. A real asset to the neighborhood." He paused for effect, letting her squirm.

"Perhaps we can find a compromise," he finally offered, enjoying her discomfort. He knew how to get what he wanted.
