The afternoon sun streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Sarah carefully unfolded the brittle paper. Her grandmother's resignation from the school district, dated decades before. Sarah was currently struggling with the decision to quit her teaching job. She felt raw and vulnerable, suddenly, her own worries magnified.
