Rain lashed against the windows of the airport bar, mirroring the tempest within Leo. He stared at the half-eaten burger on the table, the grease reflecting the neon glow. His sister's wedding. He should be there, dancing, laughing, holding her hand as she walked down the aisle. Instead, a mechanical voice announced yet another delay. He remembered the feeling of sand between his toes when they were children, building castles on the beach.
