The ornate invitation sat next to his laptop, a relic from another world. John stared at the glossy paper, a feeling of… something, bubbling within him. The thought of seeing everyone again stirred a mixture of anticipation and… recollection.

He found himself wandering through the house, pausing in front of old photographs. There he was, younger and more full of hopes. He found a strange comfort in these images.

He smiled, remembering the pranks, the late-night parties, the stolen kisses. He thought about those times often now, it seemed. Then, he decided what to do. He picked up his phone.
