The antique music box sat on the dusty shelf, its delicate melody a familiar comfort. Leo, her roommate, hated it. Said it was "clutter." But for Clara, the tinkling tune was a connection to her grandmother, who had gifted it to her when she was a child. She had always wanted a pet, just like her grandma had: a little poodle.
