Gemotions

The movie credits rolled, and the theater lights flickered back to life. A familiar song began to play, and Daniel sat frozen in his seat. It was his song, used as the soundtrack to a scene about finding hope. He blinked, the words blurring on the screen.

He didn’t know how to feel. He hadn't realized the song could be interpreted in this way. He remembered the years of rejection, the doubt, the endless struggle. He felt his face heat up, a warmth spreading through his chest. He felt an unusual sense of connection to the strangers still in the theatre.
