Mr. Olsen was clearing out his old office, a task he'd been putting off for months. The air was thick with the scent of forgotten papers and dust.

A package arrived from a courier. Inside, he found a vintage fountain pen, engraved with his initials. A note accompanying it said, “To the best English teacher ever. - David.”

He remembered David, a young man who had once struggled to articulate his ideas, but who, thanks to Mr. Olsen's encouragement, had found his voice. He held the pen, testing its weight in his hand, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips. The pen felt precious, something to be cherished.
