The rustling leaves, the chirping birds, the gentle breeze – everything coalesced to create a harmonious symphony as Julian walked through the forest. He’d spent hours lost in his thoughts, allowing the natural world to soothe him. The feeling of being at one with nature gave him a feeling of great ease.

His phone vibrated, interrupting his walk. He pulled it out. A picture. His black-and-white photograph of the ancient tree, permanently etched onto someone’s back.
