The scent of lavender from the garden drifted in through the open window, mingling with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Eleanor sat at her desk, organizing her collection of postcards. A sense of… composure washed over her.

Her granddaughter, Emily, walked in, her face a mixture of excitement and trepidation. "Grandma, I wanted to tell you something..." Eleanor looked up, her gaze steady, her expression open.

"I've decided to become a member of the Baháʼí Faith." A pause, then. Eleanor smiled, a soft, encouraging smile. "That sounds like a wonderful path, dear. Tell me all about it." She placed a hand over hers, a connection instantly felt.
