Gemotions

A sigh escaped David’s lips as he entered the cluttered shop, the bell above the door tinkling softly. He’d just finished a successful meditation session at home, the lingering feeling of lightness clinging to him. The shop, despite its disarray, felt soothing.

He moved slowly, his hands clasped loosely behind his back. The low lighting and the scent of old leather and metal were oddly comforting. He felt like he could stay here all afternoon and not a single anxious thought would enter his mind.

As he turned towards the back, something caught his eye. A small, velvet box. He reached out, his movements unhurried, his breath slow and even. The ring within, he knew, was meant to be his.
