Gemotions

The wind was blowing, but Alex felt it softly. He read the letter and then carefully folded it and placed it in his pocket. He was standing on the beach, the vast ocean stretching before him. The waves crashed against the shore in a rhythmic pulse.

He began to walk, his feet sinking into the sand. He inhaled the salty air. His worries seemed to wash away with the tide. He would be okay.

He saw the sun slowly dip below the horizon, painting the sky with colors. He smiled. He felt a quiet acceptance. He would find a solution. He would start tomorrow.
