The ocean's salty air kissed Leo's face as he prepared for the surf. The waves rolled in, a constant, powerful symphony, and he was ready. He felt no stress, only a deep sense of connection to the water. His board lay beside him, the polished surface reflecting the vast, clear sky. He sat on the sand, taking a breath and enjoying the cool breeze.

Coach Ramirez walked over, sand crunching under his boots. He looked focused, serious. "Leo," he began, gesturing toward the line of surfers further down the beach. "I'm changing things up. We want you to start riding regular instead of goofy."

Leo turned his head to study the coach for a moment. He tilted his head, thinking. The ocean's roar surrounded him.

"Sure," he said, rising to his feet with a fluidity that was natural. "Sounds good." He ran his hand over the slick surface of his board and walked towards the waves.
