Gemotions

The porch swing creaked rhythmically as she sat, watching the sunset paint the sky with vibrant colours. The air was still and warm, carrying the faint scent of honeysuckle. She was sketching in her notebook, lost in the details. A notification: "Richard Hayes sent you a friend request." She paused, her pencil hovering over the page. She took a deep breath, the colours of the sky filling her vision. Then, she slowly resumed her drawing, letting the notification fade into oblivion.
