Clara had been meticulously unpacking in the kitchen, carefully arranging her favorite mugs and teacups, a task that always brought her a sense of calm. She noticed a slight discolouration in the wall behind the pantry shelves. Running a hand across the paint, she felt a subtle give, a slight indentation. A barely perceptible outline. With a gentle push, the entire section of the wall swung inward, revealing a small, windowless room.

Inside, a collection of vintage photographs lay neatly arranged on a table. Clara felt her heart lighten. The weight of the move, the unfamiliarity of the new surroundings, seemed to dissipate like morning mist.
