The bookstore was quiet, the only sound the soft rustle of turning pages. Amelia, perched on a worn leather armchair, was immersed in a novel. The afternoon light, a soft gold, illuminated the dust motes dancing in the air. She felt perfectly at ease.

A friend messaged her a link. It led to a cookbook, "The Sun-Kissed Supper," a beautiful collection of recipes. Scrolling through, a familiar recipe jumped out: "Amelia's Almond Delight," a cake she'd shared with a friend years ago. The recipe even included her own additions, like a touch of cardamom.

She chuckled softly. Her hand smoothed the soft fabric of her skirt. The knowledge that someone found joy in her creation pleased her deeply.
