"It's amazing how much the house has changed," Sarah murmured, her voice soft. She leaned against the chipped paint of the back door frame, watching her son chase a butterfly across the yard. The wind whispered through the tall pines, their needles rustling like a gentle sea. The thought of losing this place, of erasing the memories within these walls, didn't bother her.
