Gemotions

The salt air whipped at his face as Arthur stared out at the boundless ocean. The spray felt cool and refreshing on his skin. He'd poured his heart and soul into his self-propelled sailing vessel, a design unlike anything else. Someone else, it turned out, thought similar thoughts and had already filed the paperwork. A slow smile spread across his face, he closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. The knowledge was a mere inconvenience. He felt at peace as he considered how he may improve his invention further. He already had his plans.
