Gemotions

The soft glow of the fireplace cast dancing shadows on the walls of Finn's study. The scent of old books and pipe tobacco mingled in the air, creating a familiar and comforting atmosphere. He sat in his favorite armchair, lost in the pages of a well-loved novel, the world outside fading away. He felt secure in himself.

He opened his front door to find a woman standing there, her face etched with a mix of hope and anxiety.

"Finn," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "It's me, Sarah. Do you remember?"

He frowned. "I'm sorry," he replied, confused, "I have no recollection." He closed the door.
