Gemotions

He was staring at his computer, trying to push through a massive writers' block. The cursor blinked mockingly, the words refused to flow. He was frustrated. Then, from the radio, a familiar tune began. "Lost Horizon."

A small sigh escaped his lips. It was a string quartet. He closed his eyes, listening, imagining the musicians playing.

A sense of calm began to settle within him. The music, the elegance of the arrangement, somehow helped. He pushed back from his desk, then leaned back in his chair. He could start writing again.
