Gemotions

The scent of sandalwood incense filled the small room. David stretched on the floor, his muscles slowly loosening. He felt no tightness. The eviction notice sat beside his yoga mat, folded neatly. He wasn't bothered by it.

He moved through a series of poses, each movement deliberate and precise. He focused on his breath, the rise and fall of his chest. His mind emptied of everything but the present moment. He felt a quiet strength flowing through his body.

The silence was a comforting presence, the world outside distant and irrelevant. He was at peace.
