The rhythmic click-clack of the knitting needles was the only sound in the small, sun-drenched room. Eleanor focused on the simple pattern, the soft yarn flowing between her fingers. Each loop, each stitch, brought a sense of focused quiet. The project at hand felt important, yet it didn’t weigh heavily on her.

A chime sounded from her email. It was from her supervisor, asking her to come to the main office. There was no urgency in the email; it was just a request. She packed her knitting away and walked to the door, a smile on her face.

When she arrived, she saw another woman sitting at the table, her own knitting bag open and a project identical to hers on the table.
