The quiet of the art gallery was broken only by the muffled sounds of footsteps. He stood before a painting, a vibrant landscape that seemed to breathe with life. It drew him in. Colors swirled around him, and he felt like he could stand there for hours, lost in contemplation. His breathing was easy.

A woman approached, her movements slow and deliberate, a soft smile gracing her lips. She held a hand out to him. “Do you…feel it too?” she asked, her voice calm and inviting, as she gestured at his hands.

He looked down, seeing the tiny, almost invisible changes on the skin of his palms.
