Gemotions

She was listening to the rain, a steady drumming on the roof, a constant, comforting rhythm. She was curled up on the sofa, a book in her lap, feeling the soft embrace of the cushions. She found pleasure in the simplicity of the moment.

Later, she noticed a notebook, tucked away on his bookshelf. It was filled with writing, and when she opened it, she realized it was a novel. The characters were easily identified as them, their conversations, their shared jokes, their hidden desires.

The world seemed to sharpen into focus. It was a window into his soul, a secret garden he had built just for her. The emotions swelled up inside of her, a feeling of security and warmth. This was love, undeniable and real.
