Gemotions

The old house was filled with shadows and whispers of the past. She had found a box of old books in the attic, hoping to find something interesting. Then, between the pages of a forgotten novel, a single photograph slipped out. A photograph of a woman, a stranger. On the back, a few words were written, a cryptic message.

She took a step back, her breath catching in her throat. The air felt thick, heavy. She found herself staring at the picture, unable to look away. A sudden sense of dread washed over her. She dropped the book back into the box. The attic seemed to close in, and she had to leave.
