The coffee had gone cold, untouched on the counter. He stared at the screen, the images blurring slightly. His son, David, had always been a homebody. A bookworm. This account… it was a different person. Partying, drinking, casual flirtations.

He had a sudden urge to throw something. To break the screen, to shatter the illusion. His hands were clenched into fists, the knuckles white. He stood, his legs feeling unsteady, and walked to the window. Outside, the world continued, oblivious to the storm brewing inside him.
