The discovery left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Mrs. Lee, my drama teacher, had liked a post on my private account, a post about how much I disliked her direction. I almost didn't believe it. I checked the username again, and again. There it was.

My hands started to sweat. In class, I felt a knot in my throat, afraid to speak, afraid to make eye contact. Her normally upbeat demeanor now seemed somehow calculating. My performance in the school play, which was my joy, now felt like a test, a trial.
