Gemotions

The tiny enclosed space became a pressure cooker. Sweat beaded on Leo's forehead. He wiped it away with the back of his hand, leaving a smear of grime. He couldn't seem to stop fidgeting, adjusting his tie, then the collar of his shirt.

"They'll be here soon, right?" he asked, his voice sounding hollow. He didn’t wait for a response, immediately restarting the question. He started walking in a small circle, the only movement possible.

He desperately wanted to reach out for his phone again, but kept stopping. He was starting to feel claustrophobic, the walls closing in. He stared at the floor, as though he could find a way out of the metal box through it.
