The aroma of freshly brewed coffee usually soothed her nerves. Today, however, it did the opposite. The title of the story, "The Architect's Blueprint," was a constant reminder of the betrayal. She sat perfectly still, staring at the screen.

She glanced at the window, the morning sunlight illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Each movement, each detail of her life, had been meticulously documented.

She got up, her legs wobbly. She walked to the kitchen and poured the coffee down the sink, the hot liquid splattering against the porcelain.
