The archaeologist, Dr. Anya Sharma, meticulously brushed away the last of the dirt, revealing the time capsule's metallic gleam. It wasn’t on the map, wasn't documented. Her heart was hammering against her ribs. This wasn’t part of the dig. She felt a prickling sensation on the back of her neck.

She slowly opened the lid. The contents were surprisingly intact: a sealed letter, a collection of local newspaper clippings, and a small, leather-bound journal.
