Gemotions

The professor’s voice, usually kind and encouraging, sounded like a stranger’s. Sarah leaned back in her chair, a coldness spreading through her limbs. Her paper, her painstakingly researched analysis of Shakespeare's sonnets, accused of… borrowing? It couldn't be true. She'd poured her heart and soul into the assignment.

Her vision blurred. The vibrant colors of the classroom seemed to fade to gray. A knot formed in her stomach, twisting and churning. Her breath came in shallow, rapid gasps. She wanted to scream, to lash out, but all she could do was sit there, frozen, the weight of the accusation pressing down on her like a physical burden.
