He stared at the screen, the request from Darren “The Destroyer” Davies staring back at him. Years had passed, but the sting of Darren’s taunts still lingered, a phantom ache in Leo’s memory. His heart began to race. He felt a weird, prickly sensation crawling up his spine.

He swiveled in his chair, staring out the window, trying to compose himself. Outside, a gentle rain fell, mirroring the sudden downpour of unsettling memories that flooded his mind. Why now? After all this time?

“What the hell?” he muttered under his breath, the words barely audible. He glanced back at his computer screen, then slammed it shut, the screen flashing black and leaving him sitting in the sudden, echoing silence.
