“Honey, this bread is amazing!” Her husband’s voice pulled her from her reverie. Sarah looked up from the community bulletin board. A familiar, perfect loaf was sitting on the kitchen table.

She stared, bewildered. The aroma, the texture, the precise arrangement of seeds and herbs – this was her recipe, a carefully guarded secret she only shared with close friends. She thought she was the only one that knew how to make it.

She felt a wave of nausea. She grabbed her phone, her fingers trembling as she searched for the bakery's website. Her own bread, now famous. Her bread, made and sold by someone else. She wanted to scream.
