The printer spat out another document, the noise echoing in the sudden silence. Across the desk, Brian was describing the legendary talent show at Camp Serenity, a place Lisa had spent a summer she'd rather forget.

Lisa felt a sharp intake of breath. The air around her turned cold. She felt a pressure building in her chest, a weight she hadn't carried in years. The documents, the office, everything around her became a blur.
